TradePlug is an introduction platform. We help clients find local tradesmen and manage the booking workflow. The work itself is contracted directly between the client and the tradesman; TradePlug is not a party to that contract and does not carry out trade work.

You must provide accurate details, keep your login secure, and be responsible for activity on your account. Accounts may be suspended for fraud, abuse, misrepresenting credentials or repeated no-shows.

Tradesmen are responsible for holding valid qualifications, insurance and licences. A verified badge means an administrator reviewed the uploaded document; it is not a guarantee of workmanship, and clients should carry out their own checks.

A request becomes a job when the tradesman accepts it. Prices are agreed between the two parties in-app. When a tradesman marks a job complete, the client is asked to confirm. If the client does not confirm or report an issue within 72 hours, the job closes automatically. Reporting an issue pauses that timer while the parties resolve it.

Platform commission is currently set to 0% and any change will be shown before you accept a job. Payment for the work is settled directly between client and tradesman unless stated otherwise in the app.

Only clients with a completed booking can leave a review. Reviews must be honest and free of abusive, defamatory or personally identifying content. We may hide reviews that break these rules.

Do not attempt to circumvent the platform's safety features, scrape data, upload malicious files, or use TradePlug for unlawful work.

To the extent permitted by law, TradePlug is not liable for the quality, safety or legality of work arranged through the platform, or for losses arising from a dispute between a client and a tradesman. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app, and continuing to use TradePlug means you accept the updated terms.
