TradePlug is a marketplace that connects clients with local tradesmen. We act as the controller of the account, booking and messaging data created on the platform.

• Account details: name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
• Tradesman details: business name, bio, skills, service area and certifications you upload.
• Booking details: job description, service address, agreed amounts and status history.
• Reviews, ratings and in-app notifications.
• Messages you send through the contact form.
• Basic technical data such as device and log information needed to run the service.

We use your data to create and secure your account, match clients with nearby tradesmen, run the booking and completion workflow, verify uploaded certifications, publish reviews, and respond to support requests.

Exact addresses and coordinates are only shared with the counterparty of a confirmed booking. Public search results and maps use an approximate location rounded to roughly one kilometre so tradesmen are discoverable without exposing a home address.

We share the minimum data needed with the other party to a booking, and with the service providers that host our database, storage, authentication and mapping features. We do not sell personal data.

Account, booking and review records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to resolve disputes or meet record-keeping obligations. Contact-form messages are kept until the query is closed.

You can access and correct most of your data from Account settings. To request a copy or deletion of your data, or to object to a particular use, contact us through the contact page.

Access to data is enforced per-user at the database level, uploaded certificates are held in private storage and served through short-lived signed links, and administrative actions are logged. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
